NBU Water & Sewer Asset Inventory - HMT Engineering & Surveying has been retained by New Braunfels Utilities to develop an updated GIS database of all sewer manholes and water valves within their system. HMT responsibilities include using survey grade equipment to locate the x, y, z position of all manholes and valves. Additional field investigations will be made to determine manhole inverts and conditions. All the data collected will be integrated into a single GIS database. It is estimated approximately 6500 manholes and 8000 water valves along with ALL Fire Hydrants will be located and placed into the database.

 

Cibolo Creek Municipality Authority Sewer Collection System Mapping - HMT Engineering & Surveying was retained by the CCMA to provide surveying services for support with the Authority’s SSOI program. The project included collecting GPS coordinates on CCMA’s manholes and valves, as well as integrating this information with the as-built construction plans provided by CCMA. This information was used to generate a GIS database containing the spatial information collected in the field, as well as the physical attributes of the system (i.e. pipe size, material, date of construction, slope of pipe, etc. This database was used by another firm to provide the collection system modeling as required in the SSOI program.
