Stephen W. Hanz, MBA, PE, & Principal Owner, brings 20-years of engineering and leadership management experience to the HMT team. Stephen has served as Project Manager for numerous high profile clients in both the municipal and private markets. He has overseen projects from conception land planning to equipment start-up and client handover. Stephen has extensive experience with both design engineering and hands-on construction management and oversight. Stephen is a sixth generation New Braunfels descendant from the original settlers of New Braunfels and is extremely active in the community.

Thor W. Thornhill, MLERE, RPLS, & Principal Owner - Thor previously worked for S. Craig Hollmig, Inc. for 3+ years before the name change to HMT in 2008. Prior to moving to New Braunfels, Thor worked in San Antonio for USAA RealCo in Corporate Real Estate Acquisitions. Thor provides field and office surveying expertise, coordinating operations with land developers, utility providers, governmental agencies and others. He has experience in vertical and horizontal control, topography, cross sections, photogrammetric ground control, boundary surveys, subdivision platting, zoning and construction layout, all using the latest in technology in GPS and GIS systems.

Craig Hollmig, Inc., which was formed in 1977 in New Braunfels, Texas and served the New Braunfels and South Central Texas area for over 30 years. This experience has given Mr. Hollmig an in depth knowledge of the City of New Braunfels and the surrounding area. His work has also given Mr. Hollmig an unparalled understanding of the community and the City's requirements. Mr. Hollmig and Stephen Hanz have had a professional relationship together for over 10 years.
