Residential Projects
Rockwall Ranch is a 1200 acre single family residential development located in Comal County, Texas. HMT has provided professional services for the developer, as well as assisted in surveying and permitting water wells on the property.

Morningstar Subdivision is a single family residential development located in the southwest corner of the City of New Braunfels. HMT provided civil engineering and surveying services for the master planning, subdivision platting, along with construction plans of the streets, water system, on-site and off-site sewer, drainage improvements, and detention facilities for the subdivision.

Oak Run Subdivision is a single family residential development located in the northwest corner of New Braunfels at the intersection of SH 46 and Oak Run Parkway. HMT provided professional services for the development

 

John Newcombe Estates Country Club

John Newcombe Estate & Country Club is a 196 acre single family residential subdivision nestled in New Braunfels. Built by Grand Slam Champion and Tennis Hall of Famer John Newcombe, “...the unique estate boasts over 200 premium real estate lots with generous land offerings varying from a quarter acre to one and a half acres.” HMT Engineering & Surveying provided professional services for the developer and contractor, as well as assisted on the design of storm water facilities, sanitary sewer, and environmental permitting.

Commercial

Central Texas Pain Center is a medical office located in Hunters Creek Business Park in New Braunfels, Texas. HMT provided civil engineering services for the 0.8 acre site. The development of the site included a 4200 square foot office building with an on-site sand filtration basin. The site was over the Edwards Aquifer Recharge Zone requiring the submittal of a Water Pollution Abatement Plan to the Texas Commission of Environmental Quality (TCEQ).


New Braunfels Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine is a surgical center located in the Gruene Crossing Office Park in New Braunfels, Texas. HMT provided civil engineering services for the 0.6 acre site. The development of the site included a 5600 square foot office building with accompanying parking and on-site detention.


Sonic Drive-In is a nationwide drive-thru restaurant franchise. HMT has designed multiple restaurants in the Central and South Texas regions.


Cash in a Flash is a financial services company located on Landa Street in New Braunfels, Texas. This project consisted of removing an existing home and developing the property with an office building and parking lot. Due to the unique drainage characteristics of the site, the detention pond is fully contained within the parking area.


The Children’s Bungalow is a child daycare facility located on Mission Drive in New Braunfels, Texas. The development of the site required filling the entire property 8 feet to allow for the construction of the building outside of the floodplain. Along with this, due to the slope of the parking area, two small detention ponds were designed at the entrance of the site.


Sage Capital Bank Logo

Sage Capitol Bank is is located in Hunters Creek Business Park in New Braunfels, Texas. HMT provided civil engineering services for the 1.4 acre site. The property was previously 2 lots that were replatted to provide additional developable area. The site is over the Edwards Aquifer Recharge Zone and the owners opted to use an underground vault treatment system to treat polluted stormwater.

Aquarena Plaza is “a unique lifestyle destination for San Marcos. A cozy oasis of eclectic shopping and diverse local dining, woven into the Hill Country landscape.” The site is surrounded by Aquarena Springs Drive to the northwest and Thorpe Lane to the southeast. Hunter’s Creek Business Park is a 22 acre subdivision located on State Highway 46 at the intersection of Oak Run Parkway on the fast growing west side of New Braunfels. The mixed use development consists of professional office buildings, branch banks, high-end retail and restaurants. The civil engineering services for the subdivision were provided by S. Craig Hollmig, Inc. Since the acquisition of S. Craig Hollmig, Inc., HMT Engineering & Surveying has provided planning, feasibility studies, and civil engineering services for a majority of the development within the subdivision, including Sage Capital Bank and Central Texas Pain Center.
